Step 1: Free Intro (CrossFit)

The first step is to schedule your Free Intro Class. This class is required for newcomers BEFORE joining any CrossFit class – regardless of what kind of shape you’re in.

During your intro session, we will give you a tour of our facility (aka “box”) and explain everything we offer at CrossFit Tracy. We will give you the “run down” on how the classes are structured, the use of our mobile app, and give you a better understanding of what CrossFit is all about. We will get an understanding of what your fitness goals are and you will experience a CrossFit workout first-hand. We will explain how CrossFit can and will help you achieve each and every one of your fitness goals if you commit to the program, work hard, follow the coaching, and build a solid nutritional foundation. We also go over our Membership Packages and help you to choose the one that is best for you. A coach will be there to help guide you throughout the entire session.

Step 2: OnRamp (CrossFit Only – not required for Boot Camp)

If you’re interested in CrossFit, once you have completed your Free Intro class, the next step to joining is to sign up for our OnRamp Program. It is mandatory for new CrossFit members and is designed to teach you proper technique of the 9 fundamental movements, as well as the Olympic movements used in CrossFit. This will get you ready to enter into our group classes as the movements we perform are unique and take some extra care to learn how to do them properly. We have Group or Semi-Private OnRamp.

How the Group OnRamp Works

  • 1 Month Program
  • Meet on 4 separate days – Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:30 pm
  • Classes last 1 hour

 How the Semi-Private OnRamp Works

Generally, people choose this option who cannot make the times listed above for our “Group On Ramp” Program.

  • 1 Month Program
  • Meet on 2-4 separate days (days and times according to YOUR schedule)
  • Classes last 1-2 hours (depending on the Coach and your availability)

The idea is that you get all 4 classes in before you enter our CrossFit classes. You can finish all of these 4 classes in 2 weeks (or less if Semi-Private) and have the remaining 2 weeks to workout with the CrossFit class. *Note – after you complete class 1, you may join our Boot Camp classes daily, if you wish. After you complete class 4, then you may switch to CrossFit classes.

Out of Town CrossFitters Welcome!!!

If you’re a member of a CrossFit gym in another town and you’d like to work out with us, it is $15.00 per class. We also offer short term memberships if you will be in town for a week or longer. Email us alison@crossfittracy.com or call Alison 209.923.7102.

If you are under 18, you must have a parent/guardian present to sign a Waiver.
